Thank you for your kind words. As a Christchurch resident and survivor of the quakes I appreciate your sentiments. Our family was one of the lucky ones, no structural damage to our home and the only casualties were some crockery, ornaments and our large tropical fish tank. Power, phone & water were restored six hours later. The after-shocks are disconcerting but our daughters seem to be taking it all in their stride. Both my husband and myself have returned to work but nothing seems 'normal' yet.
