A few days ago I sat behind this vehicle at traffic lights - a black Ute and trailer.
Now, the pic doesn't do it justice (file size and dimensions limited by our blog template).
However, I was impressed by the company name “All About Earthmoving” (distinctive, descriptive and memorable), the presentation and livery of the vehicles (black & chrome, polished, clean, shiny and not a bit of mud or rust anywhere) and the fact that the company has managed to clearly seperate itself, and be different from, “the rest” simply by dint of its vehicle design and presentation (helped, of course, by the cool company name).
The website name was clear and memorable (www.allaboutearthmoving.co.nz) and, overall, it was one of the best examples of making a business noticeable and memorable through vehicle presentation and livery that I have seen for some time.
Particularly loved the fact that just ‘cos your business is earthmoving, doesn’t mean you should be OK with dirty, rust coloured, muddy everything.
Some lessons here for all small businesses who are looking to cut through the clutter in their own sectors.
