Just to show I read the newsletter I am writing to let you know I had a similar experience with my BlackBerry which ceased receiving emails, for no apparent reason. Like you, I went into a large showroom (Newmarket) and when I finally attracted the attention of a staff member was told I would have to pay a charge for them to 'look' at it. My response was less polite than yours I suspect as I suggested disfigurement would ensue if nothing was done AND I would help myself to some stock for good measure. What a pity the word 'service' is fast disappearing from suppliers' lexicons.
