Tourism Industry Association

The Tourism Industry Association New Zealand is the largest representative body of tourism operators in New Zealand. It is a membership-based and private sector trade organisation with about 1700 members - from small operators through to large companies - who collectively make up 85% of the country's tourism turnover.
TMB have worked with TIA on a number of assignments including the provision of expertise and input to the redesign of the New Zealand Tourism Awards when the management of the Awards passed from Tourism New Zealand to TIA.
As a key part of this assignment, our CEO, Brian H Meredith joined a TIA National Roadshow to present Tourism Operators, of all shapes and sizes, with details of the new Awards Scheme and entry criteria (under the internationally renowned Baldridge Criteria).
Brian has also presented workshops and seminars on Tourism Marketing at the New Zealand Tourism Conference and TRENZ, New Zealand’s annual international tourism market
